Encounters that linger

I have visited many places and had countless conversations with managing directors, CEOs, and passionate collectors who, like me, are fascinated by the "spirit" of rum.

Every encounter showed me that rum connects people across borders, languages, and generations. For me, these moments of openness, curiosity, and enthusiasm are just as much a part of the journey as the bottles themselves. Sometimes, rum tastings would happen spontaneously, where we would laugh, philosophize, and, of course, taste together. And when the journey was longer, I enjoyed staying overnight, because the time you invest in your passion is never wasted.

Out and about with my son

My son has accompanied me on one or two trips, curious, interested, and just as enthusiastic about discovering new things as I am.
He too has discovered the world of rum for himself, enjoyed tasting it and found his own favorites. It was wonderful to see how my passion rubbed off on him. These shared experiences, the conversations, the amazement, the tasting together, have enriched us and shown us how much rum can connect people and generations.

A place to meet: 65606 Villmar

Because personal contact is particularly important to me, there is now also a pick-up point for buyers in 65606 Villmar. For me, this place is much more than just a pick-up point. It is a meeting place for like-minded people, for people who appreciate the value of genuine craftsmanship and honest passion. Of course, none of the rare collector's bottles were opened, but rather selected rums that are meant to be enjoyed—so-called "consumption rums." These moments were also part of my journey; they sharpened my eye for the quality and character of each individual drop.

Every bottle tells a story

Every bottle I hand over has its own story to tell. Stories of encounters, places, passion. For me, every handover is a special moment: a sincere handshake, a brief exchange, perhaps a smile, and the wonderful feeling that this bottle is now finding a new home. Because rum is more than just a drink to me. It is a memory, a connection, and an expression of devotion. And that is exactly what I want to pass on from the heart, by hand, from person to person.
